Crossing over from the soccer profession, Wolfgang Friedel
became a golf teaching professional in 1997 at GC Zollmühle
under Dieter Lang, president of the German Golf Teachers
Federation. In 2003, Friedel became a member of the GGTF and
eventually earned his Master Golf Teaching Professional
certification, now serving on the staff of the GGTF as
examiner and education coordinator.
While at GC Zollmühle, Friedel, along with
Lang, built a very successful junior program, with some
youngsters qualifying for the Bavarian Golf Team and one
qualifying for the German National Golf Team. His philosophy
is to continually develop your teaching skills and to do the
best for your students, to have fun and to make learning a
team effort with your students.
